Annual Goals and Objectives

Areas of Focus: Physical Activity & Nutrition

  • Secure leadership support in worksites to launch or re-engage worksite wellness programs and initiatives to ensure the healthy choice is the easy choice
  • The Worksite Committee works alongside the Worksite Wellness Alliance to discuss and design policy and infrastructure withing worksites that creates a creates a culture of health and wellness..


Community Action Plan Update

  • Innovative ways to promote health and wellness in the workplace will be showcased at the next meeting. February 27th at 12pm, at the MCCSC administration building (315 E. North Dr.). Please contact Alison Miller, milleal@bloomington.in.gov, for more information.



Worksite Assessment


The lowest scoring area of assessment was Chronic Disease Prevention. Overall most other areas were high, although assessment teams felt that in many cases policies were stronger than behaviors. Many schools have wellness policies in place, but implementation varies from building to building.
